【摘要】:Inmanyapplications,thevaporretardersusedonathermalinsulationwillbeexposedtothetemperatureslistedin7.2.Crackingordelaminationoftheretarderundertheseconditionswould,inmostcases,causeittoloseitseffectivenessasavaporretardermaterial.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthevisualdeterminationofthethermalintegrityofflexiblewatervaporretardersforthosematerialsclassifiedunderSpecificationC1136,includingplastic,foil,orpaperandcompositesoftwoormoreofthesematerialstotemperatureslistedinthespecificationorpurchasecontract.Thevaporretardersareintendedforuseattemperaturesof20to150176;F(-29to66176;C).Thistestmethoddoesnotcovermasticsorbarriercoatingsappliedinliquidformormaterialsintendedforuseasweatherbarriers.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
