【摘要】:Dirt,paperandmixturesofpolymericmaterialscomplicatetheinterpretationofdatafromproceduresusedtoidentifyand,ifdesired,quantifythecontaminantsinrecycledplastics.1.1Thepracticedescribesaprocedureforseparatingrecycledplasticsbasedontheircolor(forexample,greenversuscolorless)andaprocedureforwashingdirty,groundplasticwhichresultsinseparationoflightmaterials(density<1.00g/cm179;).Thispracticeisnotintendedtorepresentgenericwashingproceduresusedintheplasticsrecyclingindustry.Thedescribedproceduresaresolelyforpreparationofplasticsamplesforuseinotheranalyticaltests.Theprocedureincludesaroomtemperaturewashsteptofacilitateseparationofpaper(forexample,labels)followedbywashingatanelevatedtemperature.Note18212;Althoughnotpresentedasaquantitativemethod,theprocedurepresentedinthispracticemaybeusedtoprovidequantitativeresults.Theuserassumestheresponsibilitytoverifythereproducibilityofquantitativeresults.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
