【摘要】:ThispartofISO18192definesatestprocedurefortherelativeangularmovementbetweenarticulatingcomponents,andspecifiesthepatternoftheappliedforce,speedanddurationoftesting,sampleconfigurationandtestenvironmenttobeusedfortheweartestingoftotalintervertebralspinaldiscprostheses.Bothlumbarandcervicalprosthesesareaddressed.ThispartofISO18192doesnotaddresspartialdiscreplacements,suchasnucleusreplacementsorfacetjointreplacements.Thetestmethodfocusesonweartesting.Additionalmechanicaltestssuchasfatiguetestingcanberequired.ThispartofISO18192doesnotreproducethecomplexinvivoloadsandmotions.Theweardataobtainedwiththistestmethodwillenablecomparisonbetweendifferenttypesofimplantsbutcandifferfromtheclinicalwearperformance.TheuserofthispartofISO18192shouldconsiderrunningadditionalweartestsaddressingspecificsafetyissuesoftheindividualimplantdesigntobetested.
